Dr. Scholl's® For Her Ball of Foot

Dr. Scholl's® For Her Ball of Foot inserts where a product that I'd seen in the store and considered buying, but that I never actually did purchase. When I saw that I'd received them in my Something Blue Voxbox I was particularly happy that I'd have the chance to test them. I decided to try them in my pointy black pumps, which look very nice, but are basically like wearing two small torture chambers on your feet. Despite the suffering they induce, I decided to wear them to a work event where I would be on my feet for about 5 hours, so anything that could possibly help to relieve the inevitable pain was something I was willing to try.

The Dr. Scholl's® For Her Ball of Foot inserts were very easy to attach to my shoes and I did not have any problems with them peeling off or moving around in my shoe while I wore them. I ran into a bit of trouble because my pointy heels were already fairly tight and adding the inserts made it even harder to cram my feet into them. Once I eventually got them on it took a little getting used to, because I could feel the inserts on the balls of my feet, but since they were cushy, they felt kind of nice. After walking around in my heels for hours, my feet were still pretty sore and I had some small blisters on the tops of my feet from the rubbing due to the tightness. The balls of my feet felt fine, so I would assume that if I wore these inserts with slightly looser shoes they would work very well.

I have not tried to take the inserts out of my pumps yet, so I don't know if they are reusable, but I would like to try them in a different pair of shoes and see how they feel.

Overall, I would recommend using this product as long as your shoes aren't too tight!

I received this product complimentary from +Influenster
